Imagine waking up to an empty kitchen, with no food for you or your children. While this may be a distant thought for some, it is a daily reality for millions around the globe.
Islam encourages us to share our blessings, particularly food, with those in need. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized that the most beloved food to Allah is that which is shared among many. Donating to a food appeal is a noble act that not only nourishes the hungry but also fosters unity and brotherhood within the Ummah.
Support our Food Appeal by donating a food pack, and extend your compassion to those facing hunger and hardship.

(Quran 2:261)
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,
“Feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan (i.e., show compassion).”

Caring for orphans is considered a highly virtuous deed in Islam, and believers are strongly encouraged to support those in need, including orphans, as emphasised in the Quran and Hadith. Numerous verses highlight the importance of caring for the vulnerable, underscoring it as an expression of faith in Allah and belief in the afterlife.
In Surah Al-Ma’un, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى says:
“Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? For that is the one who drives away the orphan. And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.”
