Imagine waking up to an empty kitchen, with no food for you or your children. While this may be a distant thought for some, it is a daily reality for millions around the globe.
Islam encourages us to share our blessings, particularly food, with those in need. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized that the most beloved food to Allah is that which is shared among many. Donating to a food appeal is a noble act that not only nourishes the hungry but also fosters unity and brotherhood within the Ummah.
Support our Food Appeal by donating a food pack, and extend your compassion to those facing hunger and hardship.
Best Muslim Give Food in Charity to Others
He is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour goes hungry.
(Bukhari)
Allah promises abundant rewards for those who feed the needy.
The Quran says,
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills.”
(Quran 2:261)
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,
“Feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan (i.e., show compassion).”
The Ramadan Food Project by Ark Relief aims to provide essential food assistance to families in need during the holy month of Ramadan. Recognizing the significance of sharing and generosity that characterizes this sacred time, the project focuses on ensuring that vulnerable communities receive nutritious meals. With a commitment to alleviating hunger, our initiative not only addresses immediate food insecurity but also fosters a spirit of compassion and unity among all participants.
Throughout Ramadan, Ark Relief engages local volunteers and community organizations to distribute food packages that include staple items such as rice, lentils, and canned goods. These packages are thoughtfully prepared to meet the dietary needs of diverse communities, ensuring that everyone can partake in the blessings of Ramadan. By involving community members in the distribution process, we strengthen local ties and empower individuals to contribute positively to their surroundings, promoting a culture of mutual support and kindness.

Every year, Muslims celebrate two significant seasons: Ramadan and the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. During these blessed times, we focus our efforts on pleasing Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى through good deeds. At Ark Relief, we provide you with a platform to engage in a vital act of worship: charity. In Ramadan, you can donate to the Ramadan Food Appeal, Ramadan Zakat Appeal, contribute your Fidyah, provide your Fitrana, and pay your Kaffarah for breaking an oath or fast, especially during the blessed nights of Laylatul Qadr. In Dhul Hijjah, we assist you in fulfilling your duty of performing Qurbani. Whatever cause you choose, do so with confidence, Insha’Allah.
